Section 05 — Claim-Level Analysis
Independent Claim Analysis
Each independent claim is separated into individual limitations. For every limitation the analysis records the publicly disclosed functionality identified for each platform, the supporting evidence, and where implementation-level evidence would be required. No limitation is presented as satisfied; that determination requires claim construction and consideration of implementation facts.

Terminology
Classification definitions
- Publicly identified
- The functionality is described in company technical, product or patent documentation reviewed for this analysis.
- Potential correspondence
- Public materials describe functionality that may correspond to the limitation, but the correspondence depends on construction of the limitation or on implementation facts.
- Insufficient public evidence
- The reviewed public materials do not establish the functionality addressed by the limitation.
- Implementation detail required
- Assessment requires implementation-level information not available in public materials, such as internal processing architecture or data flows.
Applicable standard
Claim construction precedes conclusion
Literal infringement requires that each limitation, as construed, be present in the accused functionality; the doctrine of equivalents applies only where the differences are insubstantial. Prosecution history, validity and enforceability may each affect the analysis. Nothing in this section constitutes a determination on any of those questions.
